BE Engaged Makers!

Please register here (not required). 

Who: All first-year students in the College of Engineering (freshmen and first year transfers). No prior experience required.

What: Learn how to use tools such as CAD, 3D printers, laser cutters, wood tools and many others!

Why: Receive free materials ($10 max) and the guidance needed to create your own project using the tools available in the UW Makerspace. Make something for your dorm? Holiday present? These events are free and in partnership with the BE Engaged program (link).

Where: All sessions will take place at the UW Makerspace – directions here.

When: There will be a required kick-off meeting and then three make-sessions (where participants receive help with their project). To receive credit for the BE Engaged program, students must attend the kick-off meeting and at least two of the make-sessions.
