Steps for Access and Use
Step #1: Permits and Fees
Ensure you have:
[-] A valid M-Pass. You must show our staff your physical M-Pass and WisCard.
Note: College of Engineering faculty and staff are not required to pay the materials fee, however, they must have a CoE permit.
Step #2: Talk to Student Staff to Determine Which Equipment is Needed for Your Application
Find a Makerspace student staff member at the check-out window (ring the bell if needed).
Step #3: Only You Should Use the Equipment
The equipment is for your use only; do not check something out for someone else.
Step #4: Return the Equipment When You’re Done (By End of Day)
All equipment must be returned by the end of the business day. Please clean/return it the way you found it.
PREMIER+™ 2 ULTRA: A high-end textile software package that works with our Pfaff Creative 4.5. Because of it’s cost ($3k) it’s only installed on one of the Makerspace’s CAE computers – attend a Textile “Project Support Session” for more info.
We have a very limited selection of fabric available for sale at the Makerspace check-out window. Ask our student staff for more info.
