Maker Groups

What are Maker Groups?

A series of making workshops, led by our staff, that run the gamut of interdisciplinary engineering. Makerspace staff will host real-time webinars, each semester starting Spring 2021. Your materials fee will cover your shop use, and each group will have a small fee for surplus materials used. Check the individual workshops below for details.

Who is it for?

All UW-Madison students currently enrolled or recently accepted into an engineering program. Each Maker Group has a limit of 6 registrants.

When will it happen?

Once a week, your team will meet virtually and in-person to work on your project. Check the individual workshops below for dates and details.

Where will it take place?

We’ll host the webinar on Webex and you’ll be wherever you are (as long as it has internet).

How do I register?

See the links for the individual Spring 2021 workshops below.
