Intro to Laser Cutting

The laser cutter is one of the busiest tools in the labs. Available in the Design Innovation Lab @ Wendt, the laser cutter is simple to use after a brief training session. This training will cover file types, how to use the laser cutter software, basic operation of the laser cutter, logistics, and safety considerations.

Steps to Complete Laser Cutter Training

(must be completed in order)

1. Complete the Lab Orientation
2. Complete the Laser Cutter Canvas module
3. Use the link provided in Canvas to register for a 1-hour in-person training session at the Design Innovation Lab @ Wendt.
